Please help me breathe again
I've had enough of this cold air
Wrap yourself around me
Tears fall from cold tired eyes that ache
This town has become to small for us to take
What if we get out?
And leave everything behind
And just go anywhere
The sun will be our guide
I don't hate this town as much as it deserves
We'll look out across the sleeping skyline
Painted out like an ocean
The sky it turns from black to white
The sun comes up, the dawn calls us out
This day will see the best of what we have
This day we'll make our own
5am never looked so beautiful
Your eyes they shone like the sun
Coming over the horizon
We were scared, it felt like the first time
We were so fucking scared
But this time, was our time
This day will see the best of what we have
We'll never let ourselves be scared again
This day will see the best of what we have
We'll show them all
We've nothing to hide
We'll let ourselves shine
We'll shine like the sun

I don't mean to be a "first albums only" elitist or anything of the sort since I didn't even discover these guys til maybe a year and change ago, but truth be told- the demo tracks are my favorites despite Deafheaven's undeniable growth and evolution into a broader sort of awesome. satangutsandchristcorpsepaint

i dunno if i can put into words how much i ADORE la dispute's style, the music in Here, Hear. is so beautiful, it sounds god-like and mournful in a way, like something above humanity is trying to put its grief into words that humans will understand??? I LOVE IT roundestrow1et
