It’s those same sad eyes
Those distant familiar red eyes
Looking through me with all their honesty
I always thought that I was by myself
Holding on alone, I didn’t need anyone’s help
But now you've taken my hand and all the fear is gone
You’ve taken my hand and I’m ready to fall
Over the edge
I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
Another masterpiece! Since I only discovered Rolo Tomassi this year, I have the privilege of working my way through their back catalogue, and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. The closing track "All That Has Gone Before" gets me every time! carrierdown
